The company was established in 1979 as a family enterprise in Port Said after re-opening the Suez Canal for international navigation in 1976 by El Sayed Hegazy.
Initially the company known as “HEGAZY GROUP” was involved into local shipping operations and marine contracting, mainly agency services for Suez Canal Transits and other Egyptian ports along with its relevant services / matters as well as offshore Oil & Gas business.
With the dawn of the new century, the second generation, Eslam El Sayed Hegazy, have actively joined the company and after having familiarized himself with all the departments, is taking an ever increasing role in the day-to-day business.
